Richard Ridenour, M.D. ’72

Richard Ridenour, M.D. ’72 currently serves as president of Marian College, a Catholic applied liberal arts college in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Ridenour’s six years at the college have been marked by the largest freshman and undergraduate enrollment in the college’s history; the completion of the college’s largest ever fundraising campaign; and the construction of several campus buildings, including an alumni center and a soccer and softball complex.

Ridenour served for 25 years in the US Navy Medical Corps, retiring as a rear admiral. He formerly commanded the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and was chief medical officer of the US Marine Corps.
