The Lennar Foundation Medical Center Set to open in December

The medical center will feature cancer care from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center physician-scientists, ophthalmologic care from Bascom Palmer Eye Institute physicians, and multidisciplinary care from a variety of UHealth specialties, including men’s and women’s health, diabetes, neurology, and the UHealth Sports Performance and Wellness Institute. It will offer easy access to UHealth’s leading physicians for surrounding communities as well as UM students, faculty and staff.

The Lennar Foundation, the charitable arm of The Lennar Corporation, one of the nation’s largest builders of quality homes, gave a lead gift of $50 million to name the medical center.

Many philanthropic opportunities are available, including helping to name an iconic, glass art installation that incorporates 244, spectacular, Ibis in flight, displayed in the formation of the “U.” For information on all naming opportunities, contact Betsy Stephenson at 305-243-9760 or bstephenson2@miami.edu.
